Reason - The Canadian Union of Public Employees says Air Canada discriminates against flight attendants, who are mostly women, because they are paid less than pilots

The Canadian Union of Public Employees says Air Canada discriminates against flight attendants, who are mostly women, because they are paid less than pilots and mechanics, who are mostly men. The Canadian Human Rights Commission agreed with Air Canada that the groups could be treated differently, but the Supreme Court of Canada overturned that ruling and sent the case back to the commission.
