Logan International Airport saw a wheel collapse on a jet bridge yesterday (22 March).
The wheel of the bridge, used to create a covered exit for passengers to move from aircraft to the terminal, reportedly collapsed as travellers arriving from Philadelphia were leaving the aircraft.
Massport, the airport operator, said that at least one wheel collapsed as passengers left the aircraft and went on to the jet bridge at Gate 6 of Terminal B. Phil Orlandella, a Massport spokesman, said that there appeared to be minor damage to the US Airways Airbus, The Associated Press reported.
